West Ham to wear a lion on the shirt this season.
As if the board haven’t shown enough disdain for the support, they’ve gone the extra mile and sold our soul by putting a lion on the shirt for a few quid.

Terrible custodians of the club.

Really not bothered by it. It'll be barely noticeable unless you're standing right next to someone wearing one of the shirts

I remember some were up in arms about the MRF sleeve sponsorship last season too.

Just wait until the official underwear sponsor is revealed. Le Coq Sportif?

Too big, too prominent and completely changes tbe shirt design for the worse. Shame.

It does look shit but then all sleeve sponsors do...they have ruined shirt design

I just think of the Boro, Rangers or Villa Lion

Everyone has sponsors, but this looks like some Chelsea graffiti has been scrawled on the sleeve. If it were Chertsey Finance Company, and it had CFC under the lion, would you all still be saying you can’t see the problem.

I can see CFC under the lion, even if it’s not visible.

As long as it's a stable company that doesn't go broke like 2 of our previous sponsors, I don't care. I would rather have no sponsor, but modern football is all about money.

Not sure what the problem is with this for some? we are NOT the only club to have varies sponsors on our shirts are we, just part of the modern game, and compared to some other sports its pretty tame, mind you how the fuck anyone reads all these small bits of fabric is beyond me.

Lion on the shirt? I'm sure they'll wear it with pride!

It's worse - the blue away kit would be quite good, if it wasn't for the yellow socks.

Those socks are like a hideously pus-filled carbuncle on the face of someone you've never met before, to coin a phrase...

Re: West Ham to wear a lion on the shirt this season.
We currently have an ugly away kit of Dark blue and yellow socks ???, a lion on the sleeve is hardly a biggy is it?.

Re: West Ham to wear a lion on the shirt this season.
Hammers are thousands of years old, I wouldn’t expect to see them on a Millwall shirt.

Cannon have been around for 700 years, I wouldn’t expect to see it on a spurs shirt for the year.

The Cock has been around for thousands and thousands of years, and despite there being plenty on this thread, I wouldn’t expect to see it adorn an Arsenal shirt for a season.

Oh no not a Lion why not a Tiger? If it were a Tiger it would be Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat .

Actually I like the look of it the club should do a Roaring trade outta that shirt.

It's just a bloody shirt no need to paws for thought, let it be.

Re: West Ham to wear a lion on the shirt this season.
It's supposed to be a football shirt, not a fucking advertising hording.
Looks fucking horrible, as does all branding on shirts.
But the rancid cunts who own and run 'our' club will do anything for a few bob. It's not like they need the money, the greedy fuckers.
Why people pay good money for a product with adverts plastered all over it is beyond me. They must be morons.

The lion rampant is probably a thousand years old. Do you seriously think Chelsea are the only ones who use it?
